OMEGA’s Heating and Cooling outdoor units receive anti-corrosion treatment suitable for non-extreme conditions. However, there is also an option for custom heavy-duty anti-corrosion treatment for increased resistance. This treatment is applied to steel sheets, grills, coil fins, the electric control box case, and screws/bolts, providing surface protection against corrosive air, acid rain, and saline air – which is particularly beneficial for installations in coastal regions. This extensive treatment prolongs the overall lifespan of the units.
To guarantee the integrity of the anti-corrosion treatment, critical components and parts undergo rigorous testing. This includes exposure to salt mist, moisture and heat, as well as light aging testing.
By minimizing noise, the OMEGA Heating and Cooling Modular VRF provides a tranquil and comfortable home atmosphere.
OMEGA’s Heating and Cooling Modular VRF employs both a highly efficient DC Inverter Scroll compressor and a Twin-Rotary compressor. The DC inverter compressor, through its cutting-edge design and the integration of numerous high-performing critical components, can decrease energy use by as much as 25%.
The system regulates the fan motor’s speed in response to both system pressure and load, thus ensuring the least amount of power is consumed.
The innovative design of window type fins increases the area available for heat exchange and reduces air resistance, thereby improving heat exchange performance and further conserving energy. In addition, the use of hydrophilic fins and internally grooved copper pipes enhances the efficiency of heat exchange.
The five-tiered oil control technology ensures a consistent and safe level of oil in all outdoor compressors, thus eliminating issues of oil shortage. Here’s how each stage contributes:
1st stage: Compressor internal oil separation is employed to segregate the oil within the compressor.
2nd stage: A high-efficiency centrifugal oil separator, which boasts an impressive separation efficiency of up to 99%, is used to separate oil from the discharge gas, ensuring it is returned to the compressors promptly.
3rd stage: The use of oil balance pipes between compressors guarantees an even distribution of oil, maintaining the normal operation of compressors.
4th stage: Oil balance pipes across modules are used to ensure an equal distribution of oil among these modules.
5th stage: An auto oil return program that monitors both the running time and the system’s status ensures reliable oil return.
The intelligent defrosting program dynamically determines the defrosting duration based on the system’s actual requirements. This feature reduces heating loss due to unneeded defrosting, thereby creating a more comfortable environment. Thanks to a specialized defrosting valve, defrosting times can be reduced to as little as 4 minutes.
A centralized indoor controller, which can be connected to either the indoor or outdoor units, streamlines the setup process. The system utilizes a single wiring set for both system and network communication, facilitating a quicker and more straightforward installation. This is achieved via an XYE connection from the controller to the outdoor unit, and a PQE connection between the outdoor and indoor units.
OMEGA’s Heating and Cooling outdoor unit has the capability to automatically assign addresses to the indoor units. Both remote and wired controllers can then be utilized to either query or modify the address of each individual indoor unit.
The system incorporates several features designed to make maintenance simpler and more efficient. These include an inspection window in the control box that allows for easy viewing of the system’s status, and a self-diagnosis function that accelerates the process of fault analysis. Additionally, the strategic positioning of the compressor next to the casing not only simplifies inspection but also facilitates the easy replacement of valve or compressor parts.
