Static Pressure

A standard External Static Pressure (ESP) of 70 Pascal (Pa) is typically utilized, and it is especially advantageous for applications requiring long-distance air supply. This is because a higher ESP can support the long-distance transportation of air without significant pressure loss, thus maintaining an efficient and robust airflow.

On the other hand, there is also the option of utilizing an ESP of 30 Pascal (Pa), which can be adjusted on-site based on specific requirements. This lower ESP setting is ideal for environments where low noise levels are crucial. Given the direct correlation between ESP and noise produced by air handling units, a lower ESP can result in quieter operation, making it the preferred option for spaces such as libraries, offices, classrooms, or bedrooms where maintaining a quiet atmosphere is key.

Fresh Air Intake

The inclusion of a reserved outside air intake port in the unit design offers a beneficial feature – it allows for the direct introduction of outdoor air into the system. This implies that the air from outside can be drawn in without the need for a separate, standalone ventilation system. The primary advantage of this design is that it simplifies the overall ventilation structure by removing the need for an additional system just for outside air intake. Consequently, it leads to more efficient air handling, reduced installation complexity, and potential cost savings in terms of both setup and operational costs.

Convenient Drainage Pipe Installation

The design includes strategically placed reserved drainage pipe outlet holes on both the left and right sides of the unit. This thoughtful design consideration enables installers to choose the most suitable outlet holes based on the actual conditions on-site.

For instance, depending on factors like the layout of the space, the location of other systems, and other practical concerns, the installer may choose to use the left-side outlet holes, the right-side outlet holes, or potentially both. This flexibility in the selection of the outlet holes simplifies the drainage pipe installation process, making it adaptable to a wide variety of site-specific situations and needs. This flexibility also facilitates optimal positioning for effective drainage and easy maintenance.

Whole Unit Low Noise Design

The unit incorporates several noise reduction technologies to ensure its operation remains quiet and efficient. These include the following:

1. High-Efficiency Low Noise Motor: The unit employs a motor specifically designed to operate efficiently while generating minimal noise. This design reduces the acoustical energy produced during operation, contributing to a quieter environment.

2. Aviation Fan Wheel: Inspired by principles used in aviation, the fan wheel in this unit has been optimized to minimize noise. Its design enables it to move air efficiently and quietly, ensuring reduced sound levels during operation.

3. Low Vibration Wheel Casing: The wheel casing is engineered to minimize vibrations, another significant source of noise in air handling units. By reducing vibrations, this feature contributes to the overall reduction of noise levels.

4. Unique Internal Design: The unit boasts a unique internal configuration designed with noise reduction in mind. This involves the arrangement of components and their interactions to lessen noise generation.

5. High-Quality Insulation Materials: The inner walls of the unit are fitted with premium insulation materials. These materials not only offer thermal advantages but also play a significant role in sound absorption. By dampening the noise produced within the unit, these materials further contribute to the unit’s low noise operation.

By integrating these various noise reduction technologies, the unit is designed to operate under low noise conditions, making it an excellent choice for settings where noise control is crucial.

Two Air Return Installation Method

The unit is designed to allow for air return either from the rear or bottom, providing flexibility based on the specific installation requirements. What’s more, this orientation can easily be modified on-site, which means the setup can be adjusted according to the unique conditions and constraints of the installation location.

Whether it’s more convenient or efficient for the air to be returned from the bottom or the rear can depend on a variety of factors, including the physical layout of the space, the proximity to other systems or structures, and airflow considerations. The ability to choose and alter the air return direction on-site provides considerable convenience for the installation process, simplifying setup and potentially reducing installation time and costs. This design ensures that the unit can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of environments.

Air Filter

This unit comes with a factory standard air filter. This integral component is designed to purify the circulated air by trapping particles and contaminants. The standard filter is efficient and reliable for regular use, providing a balance between air purification and maintaining optimal airflow. It’s also typically easy to maintain, often requiring only periodic cleaning or replacement according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This addition ensures that the air distributed by the unit is clean, enhancing the overall indoor air quality.

DC Motor

The unit comes standard with a DC motor. DC motors offer several advantages, including higher energy efficiency, quieter operation, and improved speed control. By utilizing a DC motor, the unit can deliver enhanced performance while consuming less power. The use of a DC motor also contributes to a quieter and more comfortable indoor environment by reducing operational noise levels.

Self Diagnostic

The unit includes a self-diagnostic function that constantly monitors its performance and identifies potential issues or malfunctions. If a problem is detected, the system will automatically alert the user, often with an error code indicating the nature of the problem. This feature simplifies troubleshooting, enables early problem detection, saves maintenance time, and ensures optimal performance, contributing to the unit’s longevity and reliability.

Plenum Box

A plenum box is an essential part of the HVAC system, often attached to the ducted units. It functions as a junction between the air conditioning system and the ductwork, evenly distributing cooled or heated air throughout the connected ducts.

Electronic Expansion Valve

An EXV Box, or an Electronic Expansion Valve (EXV) Box, is a component of an HVAC system. It regulates the amount of refrigerant flowing into the evaporator coil based on cooling load or heating demand. The EXV responds to changes in temperature, pressure, or both to ensure the system’s efficiency and comfort levels are maintained.

Controller Type

This system comes with a standard wired controller for reliable, direct control. In addition, an optional wireless controller feature is available. This provides added convenience, allowing users to manage the system’s settings remotely, without the need for a physical connection to the unit. This wireless option enhances user comfort and flexibility in controlling the HVAC system.
